This oral treatment combines three key ingredients, with moxidectin as a cornerstone component—also a trusted preventive against heartworm in veterinary practice. Simparica Trio not only eliminates fleas and paralysis ticks but also maintains a barrier against these pests for five weeks. It is effective in reducing the threat of tick-borne diseases by targeting paralysis ticks and brown dog ticks. Additionally, it disrupts the flea lifecycle and helps manage flea allergy dermatitis. The chew, with its liver flavor, is designed to be tasty and its monthly administration ensures ongoing comprehensive protection.
The scope of Simparica Trio has expanded, now encompassing the prevention of flea tapeworm infestations, as well as the treatment and control of generalized demodectic mange due to Demodex spp. It also addresses sarcoptic mange caused by Sarcoptes scabiei, significantly ameliorating associated symptoms, and it effectively treats and controls infestations of ear mites (Otodectes cynotis).
Simparica Trio is suitable for dogs from 8 weeks of age and weighing above 1.25kg.

What precautions must be taken?
The chewable tablets need to remain in their original packaging until use to prevent children’s access to them
